I recently had solar panels erected on my property and I wish to congratulate your workforce on their wholehearted commitment to the job in hand. The team arrived in very heavy rain, checked out the site, unloaded the excavator and commenced to erect the free standing framework for the panels. They dug the trenches and laid all the underground wiring in pouring rain ... 88.5 millimetres of rain fell on that day. This was a very committed effort. On Day 2 with rain still falling, the panel boys started their part of the construction. Having cut and fitted wiring undercover in the shed on Day 1 and into Day 2 ... they completed their task early afternoon in wet and muddy conditions. Just a short note to express my appreciation for a job well done ... from my initial contacts with the office staff who were most helpful with advice, to the team of young fellows who came to our isolated country location to set up the systems, I’m happy to say that the whole experience went off without a hitch. We were fortunate to have been able to use SolarSave to supply and install our 10kW ground mounted solar system. From discussion with Craig we were able to select an option which suited our needs. The install was fast and neat with the guys clearing the site, and all completed within two days. We purchased three 10kW solar systems from SolarSave at the beginning of 2011. Our property is located at Walcha in the Northern Tablelands of NSW. The SolarSave team installed the panels in a day and a half. The finished job is very tidy with all cables neatly run and not hanging down. We graze sheep around the units which keeps the grass down ensuring no fire hazard. The first system was connected on April 1, 2011 and for the six months to October 1 (shortest daylight hours) it had generated 7300kW, an average of 40kW per day. Since then to December 1, 2011 we have generated a further 2800kW, an average of 46 kW per day. These figures have exceeded our expectations and mean that with the 60 cent feed-in tariff, the units will be fully paid for, including interest, within 4 years.Ross Blake ... Walcha NSW

Hi,
I would like to thank SolarSave for the professional job on the installation of our ground mounted 10kw solar system. The solar array was installed straight and level with neat wiring. It was done very quickly with no problems. They returned quickly considering our remote location to replace a faulty inverter, and the power generation has been above expectations. Nice to deal with a company that lives up to its promises.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Phillip Simpson and I am the Senior Plumber for the Newcastle City Council.
It was my job at the council to find a more energy efficient, reliable, alternative replacement for our current ageing hot water systems.
After conducting extensive research on what was currently on the market I contacted two local companies to provide quotes for the job, one of which was SolarSave.
My colleagues and I were immediately impressed with SolarSave and how they conducted their business.
Mike Mabey, who I originally contacted at SolarSave was very helpful and more than happy to answer all of my questions.
The next day two SolarSave trades supervisors visited the work site to complete a Solar Hot Water quote. The gentlemen were very knowledgeable on their product and offered multiple installation options, depending on our requirements.
Within the following few days a quote was provided to me from SolarSave which was quickly approved by myself, management and directors at the Newcastle City Council.
The installation of the 4/ 300 litre solar hot water systems was completed over a few days. Before installations commenced the council required submission of many formal documents including insurances, safe work method statements etc. This was all received promptly and in full.
While the installation teams and supervisors were onsite they conducted themselves very professionally. They complied with all OHS requirements and completed all works in a safe manner. Each day the job site was left cleared with all rubbish taken with them when they left. I was kept informed of all work progressions and advances.
Once the installation was completed my colleagues and I were given training and documentation on how to operate the system.
Overall, I was very happy with my dealings with SolarSave. I was kept well informed throughout the whole process and nothing seemed to be of a bother when I asked for it. I would have no hesitations in recommending SolarSave and would be more than happy to use their services again. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions on any of the matters above.

Hi,
I had SolarSave install my solar electricity system in June this year and have to compliment you on your staff. James, the salesman was lovely, even calling in on the day of installation due to a little problem. The two installers were exceptionally polite and considerate and were the tidiest tradesmen I have ever met! They even went to the extent to make sure my dog could not escape while they were doing the installation. The electrician that came a few weeks later to install the meter was also very tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending SolarSave to anyone who asks me about my solar.

SolarSave installed a 1.0 KW PV system to my home in 2009.
At that time I wrote to your company expressing compliments on the professional and courteous attitudes of your staff.
I now repeat those compliments after the recent failure of the inverter component of my system.
Aaron was most courteous and professional when I reported the failure last week. He was extremely helpful and promptly arranged for a replacement inverter to be fitted.
This was a great relief to my wife and myself as we were about to depart on a brief holiday.

We were very happy with the job done yesterday by Jason Hawkins and Matt Schilder, when installing our new ET Solar evacuated tube hot water system. Considering the horrific weather conditions we have experienced this week, which continued yesterday, they did a fantastic job. We were very lucky that the rain cleared for a short time, at just the right time, allowing them to complete the roof side of the job.
We had told them that we would not expect them to get up on a wet and slippery roof, if the rain had continued.
The temperature for most of the day was about 5 degrees with an icy cold wind and sleety rain. It went up to 6.5 degrees for a short period while the winter sun peeped through about the middle of the day!!!!
Jason and Matt arrived shortly after 8:00 a.m. and worked continuously through those conditions with just short breaks when we gave them a hot cup of coffee and later some hot soup to try to stop their blood from freezing!! They did all the work on the relocation/installation of the tank and plumbing onto the verandah, in incredibly bad weather conditions, without complaining.
We were very pleased with their professional approach to the job and their insight into the best way to do the relocation of the tank/plumbing with the minimum of difficulty. They kept us fully informed and explained what they were doing and we really appreciated that feedback.
We would have no hesitation in recommending your company to other prospective customers (this is sounding like a job reference, but all this is true).
They provided us with all the paperwork required regarding rebate applications and explained it all to us at the end of the job.
Your assistance also has been greatly appreciated in keeping us fully informed, despite all the problems you have encountered along the way with supply of component parts.

Dear Sirs,
Last week one of your staff called and disconnected the solar panels on my roof from the grid. He explained that the manufacturers of the inverter had advised your company of a fault which made a switch-off necessary. A few days later (yesterday) I called your office and asked when a replacement would be fitted. At 7.00pm yesterday evening one of your technicians rang me and arranged to call at 7.30 am today and fit a new, serviceable inverter.
He told me that he had been working in the South coast yesterday when he received a "defect call". He drove to Wagga Wagga to service my system before returning to the Central Coast.
I want to compliment you on your excellent back-up service which I think is outstanding.

We were intrigued when we saw the ad for SolarSave and excited when we realised how little it would cost to be able to produce our own electricity.
